“The spanish house on the corner of Heather Drive” is how our clients home is referred to in a Raymond Chandler noir. Designed by John DeLario, the house was full of character but was in need of updating for contemporary family living. Some subtle adjustments to the floorplan allowed us to relocate the master bedroom, creating space for a new Jack and Jill bathroom. We filled the house with mementos and reminders of the family’s world travels – from Moroccan encaustic tile to custom plaster work and textiles from India, Indonesia and Mexico.
