Having relocated to Los Angeles from Brooklyn, our clients had been told they would need to build an addition to have the space they wanted in their newly purchased home and were suffering from buyers’ remorse.

We found that by utilising space beneath the house and removing an auxillary staircase, we could open up their kitchen and give them a large walk in pantry and banquette.

Elsewhere we created a master suite with steel casement enclosed shower to evoke the Brooklyn lofts that they loved and missed and the children were given their own bathroom with our encaustic cement bird tile and industrial double sink.
